10 People Charged With Sexually Molesting Minors (22.10.81)

Associated Press, 22nd October 1981

Ten people, including a Roman Catholic priest, have been charged with sexually molesting minors in connection with a nationwide ring promoting homosexual activity and pornography with young boys, a state prosecutor said Thursday.

The 10 were among more than 140 people arrested Tuesday in a police crackdown on the pornography network.

Yves Lesec, state prosecutor in the Paris suburb of Creteil, said the charges were filed in local courts around the country as part of a major investigation being handled by officials here. More charges are expected as police pursue the case.

Prosecution officials said the network was discovered Aug. 1 when a 10-year-old girl in Creteil told her parents there was something suspicious about a man who was taking her two brothers on vacation.

Police subsequently arrested Patrice Amaniera, 31, of Creteil, who for the past five years has run an association to help disturbed children.

A search of his home turned up pornographic photographs and film, and an address book containing what were believed to be the names of clients all over the country.

In addition to supplying pornography, Amaniera was believed to have arranged for young boys to visit his clients, officials said.

Police said they were investigating whether the 160 people named in the book were indeed clients and searching the suspects’ homes for documents and “indications that special ‘parties’ had taken place.”

Authorities said they also were trying to identify adults who posed with the boys in the obscene photographs.

JUDICIAL SHAMBLES FOR POLITICIAL AND FINANCIAL MOTIVES
    Jacqueline de Croÿ – 17/03/2010

Denial of justice even when the victims, the sellers and purchasers of child pornography are identified …

The search notices of the police Kennemerland have two pages titled “dader” (offenders in Dutch), numbered from 1 to 17. We only know the identity of the offender No. 9, trousers down on a photograph of the criminal category n°3*, which has illustrated the judicial dossier CORAL and a Brazilian child pornography magazine.

***This case started in 1977, the year following of the creation Coral, a community for psychotic and autistic children in the south of France. Claude Sigal, an educator of the anti-psychiatry movement, had invented a “sexual therapeutic activities”.*** A trainee, then minor of age, had murdered an 11-years-old boy, who died head drowned in a bucket of water. The autopsy revealed that the child had been sodomized. The young murderer and rapist was deemed “irresponsible” and interned in psychiatry, but four only years after, he was living again in the Coral.

***In 1982, Jean-Claude Krief, another trainee, discovered the Coral was a holiday destination for the heroes of the student revolution of May 68, but the hell of children reduced to silence by their handicap.*** He also discovered a suitcase of porn. The photograph No. 1 of the Coral was the photograph No. 9 of the Zandvoort case. It represents another boy 11-years-old during “sexual games” at the hotel of the village, with the magistrate who had ordered his internment in the Coral, according to Krief.

A six months enquiry ended-up with 342 arrest warrants, including a large number of personalities of May 68. The young voters had just brought the socialist party in power and Mitterrand who had given them his full trust. But the members of the community were so stoned that one of them, Jean-Noel Bardy, has admitted to the investigators having participated in “sexual activities” adding that “this sexual freedom was part of a new form of therapy”.

Gabriel Matzneff, novelist and columnist for Le Monde, said about his own arrest : “First there is the alleged international paedophile network, which is the obsession Judge Salzmann and some members of the BSP. It was during the Dugué trial that for the first time, the question of this fantasy network was issued. The Dugué trial: you remember? The defence witnesses were called, coincidentally, Rene Scherer and Gabriel Matzneff.”

***Jacques Dugué, a basketball coach, was therefore part of their club. A police search at a member of this club in Los Angeles had led to a letter from Dugué on the need to corrupt young people to ensure the permanence of the network.*** They thus become the “godfathers” of those ready to carry on for the money. ***Dugué was jailed since September 1978 with seven other criminals, for having delivered seventeen children to prostitution and provided child pornography to specialised magazines during four years.*** Police reports evoke collective scenes of sodomy, oral sex and scatology (referring to excrements), which had been “scripted” and filmed. The publication of these photographs therefore fell within publicity to sell these films. The teens were paid 100-FF (15-€). The youngest victim was a 3 years-old boy, others were 7 years old and 9 years old. When the children are so young, the money is given to their parents.

It was “a disgusting case. I have never seen such filth in my entire career, had then said a former inspector of the vice squad. Another police officer had said of Dugué: “It’s a crank, a pervert; he had already been in trouble with the law in Paris 7 years ago, for his insistence on diverting young boys.”

There was nothing to defend, but enough of friends journalists exposed to start a controversy in the press. These people were drugged to the bone and believed they had all rights. The dossier had become political, and they knew how to take advantage of the situation. Jean-Claude Krief was accused of attempting to blackmail the Minister Jack Lang, at the same time of the murder of his brother, Michel Krief. The main witness, in full mourning, was jailed in the same prison as Sigala and his gang of perverts, until he signed a false confession, which will be used to free the personalities.

The Coral case was tried in January 1986, when two other related cases appeared. Sigala and Marceau, had not hesitated to joined the network CRIES “Centre for Research and Information on Childhood and Sexuality” (1982-1986), though they had been indicted in the Coral case. The C.R.I.E.S. had transformed the UNICEF offices in Brussels into a child pornography studio, with a laboratory where 4,000 photos were developed. They illustrated their own magazine “L’espoir” (Hope) and sold the surplus of their production to Ulrich.

Further more, Marceau, in the fumes of drugs, had filed a complaint because the KRIPTEN network wanted to send one of “his” prostitutes on Uranus, after having passed in Manhattan. This meant in the paedo network language that the child was destined to be murdered in a snuff film.

Sigala, Marceau, and Bardy, the one who had proclaimed his “sexual activity” of “a new therapeutic” order, were sentenced to 3 years in prison, but with 2.5 years of probation. The sanction thus did not exceed the preventive detention of 3 to 4 months for the sexual abuse of handicapped children. Marceau will be subsequently indicted in the cases CRIES / UNICEF and KRIPTEN.

The case has become political and financial 1991, when Mitterrand has covered the biggest swindle of all time, placing the Ferrayé patents in the French Top Secret department. Billions of dollars will enable to buy the press and export the false miscarriages of justice abroad. Bribes reach 200 million dollars. All the rascals are scrambling to launder the stolen money, including paedophiles “cleared” in the Coral case.

The French counter-espionage service (DST) has found on February 19, 1997, the CORAL and KRIPTEN records hidden in the garage of Commander Christian Prouteau, the squadron leader of an “anti-terrorist cell”, with all the dossiers that had benefited from an illegal presidential intervention. Prouteau was prosecuted for the “theft and concealment of documents classified top secret.” He had stolen these dossiers two years earlier, when Chirac replaced Mitterrand at the French presidency. Captain Paul Barril, deputy of Prouteau, declared at a public hearing on April 29, 1997: “I remember we had been alerted to stop the investigation into the paedophile ring ‘Coral’ because of the personalities involved.”

The counter-espionage service kept a few documents they thought of being covered by the “Top Secret”. Paul Bouchet, the president of the National Security interceptions, was appointed to decide which were the documents that had to be kept secret for questions of national security. Only two documents relating to telephone tapping are recognized as a “Top Secret”.

The Ferrayé dossier is thus recognized accessible to Mr Ferrayé for the defence of his rights in court, but as money has no political colour, it remains inaccessible. Chirac had even the gall to offer $ 800 million to Mr Ferrayé to “compensate” the hundreds of billions that the corrupt officials of the government Mitterrand had stolen from him. Sarkozy also closes his eyes on the phenomenal amounts that continue to feed all the slush funds, and save the robbers, paedophile or not, from the sentences provided by law for their crimes.

A note of Prouteau to Mitterrand testifies on the presidential concept of the right of defence, concerns Jacques Verges, the lawyer who defended Jean-Claude Krief. “September 1982. In accordance with your instructions, I had the research carried out to verify the information you were given on the lawyer. The deals are effectively treated by this gentleman, and, as you supposed so, the fulfilment of the agreement will be concluded imminently. I actually give this precision: we keep in contact on this matter and, if it should proceed as planned, there are strong chances that we can succeed. Unless new instructions on your behalf, we will thus pursue this matter up to the end. Squadron Leader Prouteau.”

When in 1998, the NGO Morkhoven exposes the database of Ulrich, it exposes a multitude of dossier downstream and upstream of Coral case, which has never left the top secret department, despite the conclusions of Mr Bouchet. Indeed, Sigala, the inventor of the “sexual therapies”, appears in the address book of the network matched to the code “S-24″ and Marceau matched to the code “27″. The photographs of the magistrate trousers down, had been sold to a Brazilian magazine and was still for sale in 1998, but in a cheap category “déjà vu”.

On only 2,800 of the 93,000 images in the dossier, five pictures of Dugué were sold to three Dutch magazines and one Danish magazine. One of these photographs was published in “Pissing Lolita” (p.21) and another in “Lolita Special Colors” (p.23) and two in “Altes Lolita”. (p.16) Another photo has been divided in half and sold “Boy Lovers”, released in 1978 (p.23). Lindquist, code S-23, sold three photos in the Dutch magazine “Young Giants,” published in 1976 (p.21 – p.23), and one in “Felix”, published in 1991 (p.15).

Judge Ringot is the author of a real judicial shambles. She scatters fragments of information on the godfathers of the various branches of a 40 years old network, from one page to another, without any order, then ejects them from the dossier without the slightest justification.

Dugué is prosecuted in Haute Savoie for the sexual abuse of the two son of a teenager he had corrupted twenty years earlier. Linquist was also prosecuted outside of the procedure Zandvoort, for the abuse of five children aged 6 to 15 years and procuring pictures of a paedophile nature, between 1993 and 2000, but not that of 1991!

Bernard Alapetite, also shown in the Coral case, and Jean-Manuel Vuillaume recognized a large part of their production. Only Alexander is recognized on the photo n ° 130, page 14, published in the magazine “L’enfant impossible” in 1997. The photograph n ° 223 – page 23 also appears in the same magazine, under the signature of A. Wood, JM Jacquemard Senecal and Vuillaume, as well as in the “OK Magazine” of May 1997, as published by Pojkart, Lübeck, Germany.

Alexander photograph will be assigned to the publisher “Jean-Manuel Vuillaume Diffusion” (RCS 320315609), which had put its keys under the mat in 1989, with a turnover of 2,316,000 FF (353,000 euros). Vuillaume and Alapetite had been jailed, the first one for producing the films of his company TORO BRAVO, the second one for selling them through his magazines.

The Dutch “OK Magazine” belongs to the openly paedophile association MARTIJN, who is also in the address book of the network. A former president of Martijn is co-founder of the Dutch paedophile political party which has just been dissolved. The PNVD, ” Party for Charity, Freedom & Diversity”, was demanding the legalization of drugs and pornography involving children as from the age of 12 years but has not obtained the 570 votes needed to stand for election.

The French Justice has decided that Vuillaume could continue to receive royalties for his production of pictures of naked children via the MARTIJN Association, which continues to offer its OK Magazine of May 1997 on its website, what is a political decision. In 2007 though, the Dutch royal family has obtained in the framework of an extreme urgency procedure against MARTIJN, the withdrawal of the photograph of one of their little princess who was dressed, from its website.

    Coral Case

The Coral case or “business place of life” or “Coral blue ballet” matter is a case of sexual abuse of minors which broke out in France in 1982. Highly publicized at the time, the case was distinguished by the indictment of several public figures, which gave rise to suspicions of political manipulation or police origin.

    Progress
Coral was a “living” educational facility housed in an old farm in Aimargues, in the Gard, thirty kilometers from Nîmes. In the years subsequent to May 68 in France, at the initiative of educators or anti-conformist teachers, living areas were implemented to develop alternative educational practices; some welcomed misfits, following the principles of the anti-psychiatry.

In this context, the Coral wass founded in the mid 1970s. Operating in itself and directed by the teacher Claude Sigala and his wife Marie, Coral welcomes people in difficulty (children, adolescents, adults, autistic or suffering from a mental retardation mild psychotic, social cases, pre-offenders). Children were entrusted to Coral by the DDASS or various structures dealing with children. Coral life during its early years is told in a book by Claude Sigala published in 1980. The venue was a part of, with other centers, the network Collective Alternative Network.

In late 1981 , Jean-Claude Krief, a young man of 21 years, discovered through a liaison contact, the Coral in Possible review and information of the movement of the living areas, and asked to do an internship of education on site. He spent a few weeks in Coral between Christmas 1981 and February 1982 .

    First complaint
In the fall of 1982 , children from the Coral assembled with a neighbor and talk about active pedophiles. A complaint was made to the police by parents whose children have stayed at Coral. The police visited the center on 13 October 1982. The judge in charge of the investigation, Michael Salzmann, first indicted Claude Sigala, the psychiatrist Coral Alain Chiapello and educator, Jean-Noël Bardy .

    Accusations of Jean-Claude Krief
At the same time, Jean-Claude Krief reported to the police of La Villette in Paris, where he interned of having taken part with pedophiles, that it rose to a network running around the Coral. In conflict with the law, in a case of fraud and forgery of checks, in which he has failed to fulfill its judicial review, he was arrested a few days later. He then said to have facts on the case of Coral which he took to the media: according to him, pedophilia was widely practiced in Coral, but the center also welcome perverts from various backgrounds, who would then abuse the minors housed there. Claude Krief accuses Sigala and two other educators staying at Coral of sex with minors. In his denunciations, traffic of child pornography photos transitted through the coral, orwould be organized there. The rumor soon talking about sexual abuse, especially of minors.

Six days later, the philosopher René Scherer, professor at the University of Paris VIII, was charged with “incitement of minors to debauchery”. Gérard Durand, professor of music, and Willy Marceau, a young man of 21 years without occupation, were also charged following Krief’s reports. The writer Gabriel Matzneff was also implicated, but not charged.

Defferre, then interior minister, said at the outset of the investigation, to give credence to the story that “children have been involved in sex cases.” A large batch of photographs of children seized from the director, and possible friend of Claude Sigala. The case, complex and sometimes confusing, drew the attention of French media and created a media campaign. Parents of children attending the Coral supported Sigala and his team, and participated in committee support. Claude Sigala was finally indicted for sex with a teenage girl, who accused him before retracting.

Jean-Claude Krief sent the police, a list of political or intellectual personalities, often from the Left, who he claimed were connected to the Coral case. Jack Lang, then Minister of Culture, was among those cited as well as the magistrate Jean-Pierre Rosenczveig, advisor to the Secretary of State for the Family, Georgina Dufoix. Jean-Pierre Rosenczveig, had offered shortly before, prepared to the attention of Georgina Dufoixknowledge, a folder about Claude Sigala of Coral and other care facilities of the same type officially recognised by DDASS.

The first doubts about the charges
Jean-Claude Krief said later that his brother Michael had the idea to engage in a process of blackmail against Jack Lang “to make some money.” The attempt is based on the fact that one of the later accused knew Lang folder. At the time, Michel Krief, founder of a group of extreme left called “The Apaches marginalized” was for five years an informer RG on politics. He told Bernard Stanek, his case officer, to be in possession of compromising photos featuring various personalities. Then he went to an appointment with the Chief of Staff Jack Lang, Michel Krief was arrested for attempted blackmail against the Minister. Jean-Claude Krief was released, meanwhile trying to sell to the newspaper Minutes police papers – in fact a crude forgery – accusing Jack Lang. The newspaper Minute, contacted by Krief, was convinced that this is a police conspiracy designed not only to undermine the government but also to compromise with some media. Photos of a man sexually abusing a child ran; some believe recognizing Jean-Pierre Rosenczveig: reproductions of images are transmitted to Paul Barril , captain of the GIGN, and the officer dealing with Michel Krief. Neither officer have the original pictures. The authors of the book Sexus Politicus suggest that it could be composite fakes and also stressed that the part of the Krief brothers is not known of what was handling and/or compulsive lying. Georgina Dufoix learned about the images at the request of the Secretary General of the Elysee Jean-Louis Bianco and formally declares not to recognize Jean-Pierre Rosenczveig .

Falsified documents circulate, involving figures such as Michel Foucault, Félix Guattari, even the Prime Minister in office Mauroy. Claude Sigala denounced Krief for his part as a pathological liar and pedophile himself, having fraudulently posing as a host of Coral; he refers also to the possibility of a political conspiracy, which could target the “libertarian and self-management lifestyle” of Coral. One of the accused, Meanwhile, Jean-Noël Bardy, was known to have had a “relationship” and “sexual activity” with a resident of Coral, adding that “this sexual freedom was part of a new therapeutic method”. The report showed that the young man, arrested in 1977 for the rape and murder of a resident of Coral, returned to live, after a stay in a psychiatric hospital, to the scene of his crime with an “imprudent” agreement from Claude Sigala. On 29 October 1982, Jean-Claude Krief retracted his accusations and spoke of political manipulation; his lawyer Jacques Vergès, said that his client was pressured to discredit members of the government. The following year, the authors of the book File P. ..which suggested the possibility of a conspiracy of police mounted by members of the RG to destabilize Jack Lang.

    The investigations and trials
Police investigations finally show that public figures accused were innocent. Jean-Claude Krief retracts some of his charges in November 1982. Michel Krief is found dead. The report declares it a suicide, but his death sparks new rumors.

Corrections to trial in January 1986, no political or intellectual personality were summoned. Convictions of several members of the community are three years of jail with one or two years of probation. Claude Sigala was sentenced to three years in prison, with one year suspended for “indecent assault without violence on minors under 15 years.” His wife and psychiatrist Alain Chiapello are rreleased. Three other educators at Coral are given sentences to three years in prison, with one year suspended. Another leader was sentenced to eighteen months in prison. In total, seven of the ten defendants were convicted.

In 1987, the appeal process increases the duration of the stay, the detention of some prisoners being covered by months in prison during the period of detention. Claude Sigala is sentenced to thirty months of imprisonment.

For his part, Jean-Claude Krief is sentenced for falsifying case records.

    Subsequent to the case
In 1995, on the occasion of the departure of François Mitterrand , the head of the cell Elysee, Christian Prouteau, stored archives that will be discovered two years later by services against espionage, some concerning the case of Coral, transmitted to Prouteau by Paul Barril. Years later, one of the repeated claims was to have found Jean-Pierre Rosenczveig on a CD-ROM discovered through Zandvoort by Marcel Vervloesem who helps fuel the rumors about the existence of pedophile networks.

    Consequences
Following this scandal, Coral would waive a portion of its operation away from anti-psychiatry. In 1992,it accepted a functioning more in line with the wishes of the public administration.

The model lifestyle has since been rehabilitated and integrated into the medico-social action by the law of January 2, 2002, which did not fail to arouse some controversy.

According to historian and criminologist Anne-Claude Ambroise-Rendu , the case of Coral especially helped draw attention to the functioning of the living areas, and to question “psychiatric innovation” of 1970.
